Config files
Terminal Delight keeps its settings in ~/.config/terminal-delight/, its records in ~/.local/state/terminal-delight/, and its sockets in your runtime directory. $XDG_CONFIG_HOME, $XDG_STATE_HOME and $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR move them.
The files you're likely to edit by hand are theme.toml and skin.toml, and both are picked up the moment you save. Everything else is written by the app when you change something in it: the session layouts, launch defaults, notification settings, favourites, and which logo goes with which directory.
Technical lists every file, what writes it and what reads it.

Elsewhere#
| Path | Holds |
|---|---|
$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/terminal-delight/ | ctl-<pid>.sock per window; session-<name>.sock, .log, .tag and .window per session host. |

Files that hold your working directories and resume commands are owner-only (0600) in owner-only directories (0700). To clear what Terminal Delight remembers, delete sessions/. The finish bell has no file: its sound is built in.
